Construction spending in October reached levels not seen since 2007, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) — and showed a year-to-year increase of 13 percent over October 2014.
Spending was up in all sectors, causing association officials to predict that sector growth will continue into 2016 — although they continued to sound their familiar warning that the expansion could be limited by a lack of experienced workers.
